Applications
Suitable Formations
Hard and intact formations such as limestone, dolomite, white sandstone, and coal seams.
Adaptation hardness grade: F≤8 (medium-hard formation), F≤11 (hard formation), achieving efficient rock breaking through super-strong oil-grade PDC cutters.
Not recommended for loose & broken formations, highly abrasive formations, and ultra-hard formations with F>11.
Drilling Method
Rotary Drilling – Recommended to use mud circulation or high-pressure clean water circulation to ensure adequate bit cooling and efficient cuttings removal. Adjust drilling pressure and rotation speed according to formation hardness (F≤8/F≤11) to further improve drilling efficiency and bit life.
